Who am I?

You might feel a bit confused scrolling through my LinkedIn, reading my CV, or even browsing this website (it’s my first time building one, and I’m probably having too much fun with it).

Don’t we all love a show with some good plot twists? Let me talk you through my career choices, I promise there’s a common thread.

Season 1: AUTOPILOT

S01e01

After a film school rejection, the more conventional path led to university. I started out with a BA in European Studies, followed by a Master’s in Environment and Resource Management. I’ve always loved research and academia, and graduating during Covid had a silver lining: as the lecturers were drowning in essays, we had to do video essays, which resulted in me graduating cum laude.

S01E02

Once I started my first job as an environmental consultant, I realised I had made a mistake. I had overlooked the thing I love most: creating.

While I was supposed to focus on logistics and reporting, I found myself drawn to the visual side of things, especially designing maps in QGIS. It became clear that what excited me wasn’t the data, but the design.

Season 2: reboot

S02E01

I made the switch to the creative industry; concepting, designing, and bringing ideas to life visually.

These days, I’m exploring even further, dabbling in creative direction, film, photography, and exploring tools like Blender, TouchDesigner, ComfyUI, and Effect House. I’m endlessly curious.

Whether it’s capturing people in their element with a camera, or spending 5 hours trying to figure out the mistake in my code. I’m always chasing the next creative challenge.

S02E2

Having such a wide range of interests can seem like a lot. But with AI reshaping the landscape of work and creativity, hyper-specialisation feels less relevant than ever.

What matters most now is adaptability, imagination, and a deep personal drive. I give 110% to every project I take on. I’m disciplined, self-taught in most of what I do, and fuelled by genuine love for the process.

S02E03

Outside of work, I collect passions the way some people collect records: pole dancing, electric guitar, yoga, drawing, reading, writing, cooking, the list goes on. It’s in the overlap of all these interests that I get really excited about life.

I don’t compartmentalise creativity; to me, it’s all connected. The more I learn in one field, the more it feeds into another.

Season 3:
taking off

S03E01

With a strong foundation in concepting, design & photography. I would like to dive deeper into concepting, creative direction and film. The craft of film allows me to put several of my skills together. It’s where story, visuals, sound and tone collide.

I’m excited for season 3: taking off, and hope to focus on creating human projects that stick.
